Boards are one exam. Life is a thousand. Your child learns to handle pressure, make real decisions, and recover from setbacks — skills that serve them in boards this year AND in college, careers, and relationships for the rest of their life. Future Ready Mindset Confidence, resilience & life readiness
In Grade 10, students develop critical emotional resilience and decision-making skills for their future. Through Self-Awareness, they'll build self-esteem, understand anxiety, depression, triggers, and comfort zones, become their own life coach by developing "Your Brand, Your Future," and identify physiological stress reactions and personal stressors. Self-Management teaches coping with anxiety and stress, self-motivation, organizational skills and goal setting, gratification and impulse control, stress management, accepting constructive feedback with a growth mindset, and recognizing addiction in video games, online gambling, and app-based shopping. Social Awareness focuses on identifying social norms, reframing cognitive distortions from negative to positive, offering and seeking help appropriately, understanding how built and natural environments affect feelings, and recognizing and addressing stereotypes and biases. Relationship Skills advance through perspective-taking scenarios, conflict resolution and problem-solving, apologizing and repairing relationships, and strengthening family bonding. Responsible Decision-Making emphasizes celebrating mistakes as learning, developing leadership skills, evaluating situations before deciding, understanding and avoiding risky behaviors, mastering time management and study skills, and setting strategic goals. By year's end, students possess the maturity, resilience, and practical skills to navigate high school successfully and make wise choices for their future!
